Raped girl likes getting treated roughly by her teacher because he is hot and possessive. Logic/10.

A piano teacher, his student, 50 shades of gray vibes, age gap, forbidden love, student/teacher romance, & a possessive dominating main male character… quite a romantic symphony.

She grew up in poverty. He’s loaded. He’s dark, but has a good heart. He makes her his and she falls for everything that he is. His main goal is to make her happy and keep her safe. Heartwarming story with notes of all things spice.

I truly enjoyed the music references and the melody the words painted.

Pam Godwin knows how to tell a story indeed! Definitely DARK in spots, so check your TWs. But brilliant writing for sure.

Ivory is a piano prodigy from the wrong side of the tracks, and her favorite teacher that is supposed to help her get into her dream college is replaced... by sexy Mr. Marceaux .

And he has his own demons as well.

Firstly I’d like to say this book should have had rape, abuse and death trigger warnings to it.

This book was amazing!!!!!!!!!
I loved it!! The only part I had an issue with was the cat, that part tore me apart. (If you’ve read the book already you know what I’m talking about). Not that the other stuff wasn’t terrible as well, but animals just hit differently, I guess…
I love how it was like a Cinderella story as a dark romance. It drug me in and held on from the first chapter! I will definitely be looking into other books by this author!

I did not enjoy the storyline or content, some of the details felt like they were trying to copy 50 shades of grey but it didn't work for me. Felt icky reading it

Dnf at page 152. This book is very similar to lessons in sin but much weirder. I disliked the hero. he’s manipulative and predatory (NOT in the hot dark romantic way) and gave me the ick.
