This was really solid. I really liked all the more fantasy-centered ones, and enjoyed the realistic fiction ones a lot less(like Bad Brass-it was a great concept but just seemed to go on forever!)

Favorites:
Tough Times All Over-Joe Abercrombie
Roaring Twenties-Carrie Vaughn
A Year And A Day In Old Theradane-Scott Lynch
A Cargo Of Ivories-Garth Nix
How The Marquis Got His Coat Back-Neil Gaiman
The Lightning Tree-Patrick Rothfuss

it was really good. most of the stories were both charming and enthralling with only one or two that did not catch my attention. but they were all short enough that if you didnt love one, another would come up soon. the readers were all fantastic if you get the audible version.

I checked this book out for the George R.R. Martin story. I then read the first half of the book and liked the stories. I'm putting this down because I am not really feeling short stories right now.

Three and a half stars.

Another chapter of the incredible A Song of Ice and Fire series and a great companion to the Princess and the Queen.

As a Targaryen fan, I always enjoy these snippets of the past.

This is an anthology of short stories, about, well, rogues. Thieves, con men (and women), and creatures of all kinds.

My favorite stories were A Year and a Day In Old Theradane by Scott Lynch, How The Marquis Got His Coat Back by Neil Gaiman, and The Lightning Tree by Patrick Rothfuss.

Good all around collection of short stories. Honestly, the GRRM story might have been the weakest of the bunch. The Scott Lynch story was a lot of fun; his normal formula but it fares better in the short format rather than stretch across multiple novels.
