This is such an inspiring book! The tumultuous times these people have experienced are well within the realm of possibility of what we will be experiencing in the coming decades, the aftermath and potential subversion of our current global economic structure is one that I see a lot of merit in.
Each and every interview felt like it was from a real person with their own lives, hopes, dreams, regrets, fears, and aspirations. I felt their pain and their joy.
A better future is indeed possible; it just needs to be fought for.

I really wanted to like this book. But instead of offering the hopeful picture of the future it promises, it instead offers a portrait of everything that is wrong with the left (my political home) today, in 2025. The book edges so closely to anti-Semitism and offers such a general view of the future that it's hard to actually take any ideas from it.
