I needed the world to be built so I understood it better. Too many things did not make sense. The characters all read the same, I couldn't have told then apart if I tried. I also couldn't understand how AI and space elevators worked in a world with no formal training and climate change. I wanted to like this book but it was the most unsatisfying read in years.
