DNF 80% -Found the FMC annoying and the overall theme of the book repetitive.

I love the Shopaholic books. They are fun, light, and easy to read. That garners a rating of 4 stars in my opinion.

Rebecca Brandon nee Bloomwood is a ridiculous character and I found myself rolling my eyes at her crazy antics. However, her generosity and her love for her family & friends won me over in the end. This was a fun Christmas read!

I’ve grown up reading the shopaholic series. Some I’ve loved, and some I haven’t, but either way it’s like meeting up with an old friend again! I only wish Becky aged like a normal person. Minnie was born well over a decade ago, yet she’s still pre-k age. It would be nice if maybe Minnie was in elementary school or junior high now. It’s fun to age with characters you love!

Over the top but heartfelt. Had a difficult time getting into the pacing at the beginning. Now thinking this was to do with the fact that this was my first experience with this multi book character. This is book 10 in the series.

Reading "Christmas Shopaholic" was like catching up with an old friend, both of you cuddled in a warm coffee shop on a snowy day, sipping hot chocolate topped with marshmallows. There's this familiarity in rejoining Becky Bloomwood in her wacky adventures, and I loved every page of this book! In terms of a self-contained novel in a cozy holiday setting, I liked this a lot more than the last two Shopaholic novels with Becky in Los Angeles. Everyone is just so lovely, I could read so many more Becky Bloomwood novels!

I struggled with rating this book because I would struggle recommending this book to a friend as it is definitely light and fluffy chick-lit. This was a laugh out load book with the cliche happy ending! Perfect for a pre-holiday read.

Nope, can't do it. Right about the time that Becky writes on her husband while he's sleeping, with sharpie (because all her life she thought that only black sharpies were permanent, and this one was blue), I am giving up. Surely there is no one this stupid in the world. Natural selection would have done its job by now, wouldn't it? It's not entertaining to me, and I am bored out of my mind reading about her doing the same crap over and over. DNF at page 76.
