Compared to most anthologies, this one has a fairly broad range of poetry written in English
It’s good to see a more diverse range from the post-ww2 modern era.
But I didn’t really find enough to engage with. Too few written by women. Too many from able-bodied cis white men.
Too many of the selected poems were serious or negative moods. I wanted some whimsy and hope and lightheartedness too
