Wow. Think about how two people born the same year could have such very different lives and yet both have such a profound effect on the world. Well written and the illustrations are well done.

Before reading this, I didn't realize that MLK, Jr and Anne Frank were born the same year. A fascinating parallel look at these two influential lives.

Like the text and the comparison of two famous people born in the same year. Dislike the ugly illustrations.

Combining the stories of Martin Luther King, Jr and Anne Frank has a powerful effect in this moving picture book biography. Seeing their parallel lives pushes the concepts of discrimination and racism beyond one group, hopefully allowing children to understand the greater issue. And certainly to understand the long lasting power one person can have by standing up for equality and human rights. A moving story that I hope all children will get a chance to read.
