Even though I didn't love this I gave it five stars, because I did like it and for what it was trying to do, it did it very well. Also I love the message of the first short story and Bink's obsession with pancakes!

I adore Bink and Gollie with every fiber of my being. Their newest book is so sweet and charming, and the language is so much fun to read aloud.

The third Bink and Gollie book remains true to the series - more stories about these two best friends and their interesting, if not amusing, adventures.

For whatever reason I just didn't feel this one as much as the others, but the Acme Stretch-o-Matic is worth the price of admission on its own (but maybe that's just me speaking as a short person)
