This story is so subtle; it's brilliant! It is SnapeXHermione (though it's incomplete and the only "action" was forced on both sides and done mostly off screen). It's such an intriguing story, and I wish it was complete, but I know I'll read what the author DID complete over and over again - it's that good. Basically the story involves Snape being a double agent and grooming H to be one of sorts, too. And how she agrees and how she feels about agreeing and what she has to do to start being a double agent. There's also fascinating ideas about how house elves came into being, an even cooler Invisibility Cloak, and Snape has the best familiar EVER. I give this 5 stars, even without being finished.
