This was a lot better than the first book! I also have a soft spot for interior design careers in books🙃 I think a duet inside a interconnected series is so fun and different. I’m enjoying this series and I will be continuing it.

This one was way better than the first thank god! I will say though it was disappointing to see Blake thriving in many ways since the breakup and not the case for Farrah. I'm very happy how the conflict from the first one resolved but like in a way not. Why did it take half of this book to figure it out. I found it was dragged out and meant for less time where they could truly be together and working on their relationship. I just overall didn't connect to them or feel their love as much as I did in the first one.

If the sun never sets
⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 3.5 stars the point 5 is because he groveled. And earned sympathy points and the trope is miss communication/ making the audience believe he cheated but actually didn’t. if it wasn’t for the stupid trope I might have given it 4,5 stars.
