I "found" a perfect singer and lover, devoted to her husband and her voice. I think she deserves to be very rich because she's really the best. The book didn't touch my soul, I can not say I know her better now, I knew she is a perfectionist and a romantic woman but I usually expect more from a biography: life lessons, interesting facts and thoughts.

3.5 stars.

I love Celine Dion. I love her personality, her look on life, her love for René, her tone and especially her songs. My friends laugh at me when I tell them but I don't care and actually, they secretly like her too. This I know.

However, I found this book quite boring to be honest. I hate to say it but it's true (for me anyway). I get her love for René, I admire her for it and I wish I could find a girl who loved me as much as she loves him but I don't need to hear about it on every other page and it wasn't just this. The whole book was a bit repetitive and I was willing the end to come (of the book, not of me. It wasn't that bad!). That surprised me a bit because I thought it would be far more exciting. I know this particular biography only goes up to the year 2000, and we all know what happens in between, but it was just, 'I made a song here then did a concert here then recorded in a studio over there' ad nauseum and I really wanted more. It's such a shame but it won't stop me loving this woman and her music. I'm not sure if I'll read another of her books though.
