Truly a moving tale about love, memory, and found family. The way the author uses math and baseball to illustrate the relationships being built throughout the story as well as the way time shaped the events of the plot was incredibly moving. I loved this book way more than I anticipated.

A thoughtful, gentle novella that radiates kindness and friendship. I know some people have found it quite sad but I actually just found it beautiful. It's a contented sigh of a novel.

adorable and heartwarming. A beautiful, deeply moving exploration of what it really means to know someone and form a relationship with a person who loses their memory every eighty minutes. The themes of found family, friendship, memory, and love are so well done, this book defines what it means to be human and to love. The way math is used as a poetic device??? I never thought I would be this interested in math. I’m being so dramatic but this is my favorite book ever. I was so scared that the professor would lose his affection for Root as he grew up, but I’m so glad they were still close. The ending >>>>>
Literally in shambles over this book, its memory would stay with me for years to come.
