A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words Review An Alisa Review:

Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5

This was a nice story. Niall meets Ben not long before his time on earth is up and when he goes home to tell his family he is staying he gets stuck there longer than planned. Ben can’t believe the man he loved would just leave and not come back when he said he would only be gone a few days, not over a year and a half.

Niall and Ben have an instant connection that is easy to see as is how willing they are to really work for a relationship. However, Niall gets caught up in the fae’s sense of fun and since time is different is gone from Ben much longer than he should have been. Ben tries to be a hardass when Niall shows up again but it’s hard to deny your feelings. The only thing that was hard for me was the whole situation with the Hunt, I would think all fae (especially the leader of the Hunt) would know that when you are handfasted to someone they are safe. I look forward to the other stories in the series being re-published also.

The cover art by Melody Pond is nice and I like the visual of Niall.
