Delightful new addition to the Haunted Yarn Shop Mystery. Kath stumbles upon another murder (literally) and then sets out to solve the mystery with the help of her friends in the TGIF (Thank Goodness It's Fiber) Group and Geneva (her resident ghost)! What a great group of characters. They also stumble upon two skeletons that have been buried out at the Holston Homeplace Living History Farm. Poor Kath also has to deal with Clod again. They really need a new sheriff in their town. The murder was not easy to solve and I loved the unique murder weapon. I hope you enjoy Plagued by Quilt from Molly MacRae as much as I enjoyed it. I received an Uncorrected Proofs copy from the author which I won it in a contest on FaceBook.

In the fourth installment of the Haunted Yarn Shop series, Kath and the TGIF crew are once again thrown into a murder investigation when Kath stumbles upon a body at a local living history farm.

I chose to read this book for the #saveourcozies readathon. I don't believe that I could have selected a better book to read. I have been reading this series in order, and I can say without a doubt that this is my favorite in the series so far. It tied together all of the subplots that have been building up in the previous books.

I love that we had the opportunity to learn so much about all of the supporting characters. We even saw a more human and relatable side of the Spivey twins. I even got a little teary eyed at the book's conclusion.

I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I sincerely hope that it will continue beyond the fifth installment.

I love reading books with craftspeople and artisans as the main character of the story and their art as the premise. I am not artistic or particularly craftsperson-y, but I enjoy getting inspired to maybe give it a try one day, like knitting or quilting. One day....
Anyway, I read the first book in this series this past summer and highly enjoyed it.

I was happy to find group on facebook about cozy mystery writers who take turns hosting. I like that you can chat with the authors, learn about new -to-me authors and books and get the chance to win a book from time to time.
I won this one and pondered whether I should wait to read it until after I read books 2 and 3, but I've skipped around series often and thought it'd be okay. I was glad I did. This book is FAB!
There is a lot going on but not in a confusing way.
Kath is the main character, but she has an outstanding support team and they work well together for all that they might make me a bit irritated but they are like family for Kath and folks put up with quite a lot for family. The characters are very well written, the kind that you want to hug and the others who you want to smack upside the back of the cranium.
There's suspicious death, the irritated police person who does not want any help, thank you, and does things in a rather interestingly off way. And gets help anyway.
I like the historic farmstead where most of the action takes place. I want to see a crazy quilt like the one featured in the book. I want to learn to quilt! I want to visit Blue Plum and spend money at Weaver's Cat! That's when I know a book/series has grabbed me, when I want to visit the town and get to know the inhabitants. And meet the ghost.
Thank you Molly MacRae for the chance to win this book from. Thank you for signing it for me.
I can definitely recommend this book, series and author.

This book's actual plot is weak, but you get lots of details on the ghost Geneva and her backstory.

This is my favorite of the series! One remains and I will miss these characters when it is done.

I loved the characters in this book and that was what saved it for me. The plot itself was interesting, but the lead up to the reveal of who the killer was, was less than satisfactory for me. Still, the fun characters, especially the ghost, was enjoyable. I would definitely read more from this series and this author, if not only for the exceptional writing of the characters.

Once again, an enormously sweet and cozy mystery! This one does ask you to read some of the books before it in the series to fully understand what's going on, but it's worth it.
