I didnt feel much of connection with anyone but the two main people so their motives didnt come off too well. Pretty cool story just delivery wasn't that great. Fun quick read.

I honestly felt like the storyline was great but just wasn’t written the best in my opinion I felt like it hopped around too much to truly just get lost in the book.

Try this if you like…
  • audible+ short stories
  • mystery thrillers
  • stories told from multiple POVs
  • Tybee Island setting

I don’t get the title. It insinuates that Cat & Vivian are friends and they didn’t know each other until this book started. Anyway…this was fairly entertaining and while you are privy to most of the mystery it still manages to keep you mostly interested in the details involved.

  • The narration by Karissa Vacker, Catherine Taber, Cynthia Darlow, & Matt Boren was super good.
  • ratings score ⬗ 6.86/10

This was a good, short FREE Audible mystery.

I really can’t complain I liked the characters and I liked the plot, I just didn’t LOVE it. Still, I absolutely recommend especially, people wanting something QUICK & FREE!

(My “dates read” are just a guess)

If you take this book for what it is - a humorous, quirky, cozy detective story- you’ll get what you came for. It was a fun story. I found the characters interesting and my biggest complaint is that it ended abruptly- which will keep me reading.

I admit, I wanted the murderer to get away with it. Overall, it felt like the start to a series, as extraneous characters were added for no apparent reason, except for future use. The heroine is an idiot, but showing possibility of growth. I might come back for more.
