This book was so good! I always feel weird trying to describe these books when they are dark, taboo romances because they are subjects that, if they were happening in real life, I wouldn't like or support, but in a book and seeing it laid out like this story, I couldn't get enough. In this one, we have a relationship between foster siblings. We have the motorcycle club angle. Then we have murder and a mystery. It was just so intense, and I really wish there were other books that followed other characters in this world because there was just so much. I need to read more books by Jones.

2024 Reread

So, this was a reread for me, and I wanted to reread it because I recently got a physical copy. I'm going to a book signing in March where Amo Jones will be, and I hope to get it signed. It's been over a year since I initially read this one. Anyway, this one is still so dark and definitely not for everyone, and the way it ends, I really wish there were more books about either the motorcycle club or even the organization that Jade ends up working with. There is a second book loosely related to this one, but it's more about a connected world in Wicked. Anyways Sicko is a very dark book and follows weighty themes. You really need to check content warnings before picking it up.
