Thoroughly enjoyed this. Loved all the characters. Sad it’s finished.

This was great, I really enjoyed it and this book had me emotional at times.

Edit- I couldn't give a proper review because I was at school when finishing this. This was a roller coaster and a half. It was painful, heartful and even had me weeping. Kaz Brekker is relentless and head strong. Inej is just amazing and will stop at nothing and deserves the love she craves. Nina and Matt..I couldn't even get into I them even if I tried. If you read it you understand. And Wylan and Jesper just need to get married.

Loved it! So sad it's only a duology

okay leigh bardugo, i see you

crooked kingdom had higher highs than six of crows but its failings were also more noticeable. i didn't really care though; i think the highs more than make up for it. there are SO many plots interweaving here and honestly sometimes it gets a little too much, but for the most part it does what it sets out to, it doesn't chew more than it can swallow, which is the biggest compliment i have for it because so many fantasy books set up impossibly high stakes that they can't deliver meaningful resolution on. this delivered.

there are a few complaints like how imo some side characters mostly just kind of just sat around to be useful to the main six (kuwei deserved better), but honestly i was fine with that cause of how often shit just blew up in their faces all the time so the scooby gang needs some convenient Ws sometimes. *harry potter voice* "kaz when have any of your plans ever actually worked. we plan, we get there, all hell breaks loose"

also good god kaz/inej is good shit. dark YA lit show me the forbidden royai
