A difficult third act plagued with repetitive voice over, a lot of "trust me" characters, uneven artwork and basic panel layouts. But binding it together is Taylor's typically engaging characters and nice dialogue and it all comes together at the end in a satisfying way.

This is genuinely one of the best written comics I've ever read, and of course it's gorgeously and horrifically drawn. A well-written superman, magic kryptonite. Green Lantern Dinah, Supersons inheriting World's Finest. Plot largely founded in the realm of the arc, not dependent on continuity, and makes great use of that.

Such a satisfying conclusion to this miniseries! Smart plotting and entertaining action and script beginning to end.

I didn’t enjoy this one anywhere near as much as the first book. I’m just not a Constantine fan and this was very John Constantine and magic heavy. In addition, there were all the random couples that just confused and annoyed me. Why was Damian paired with Cassie Sandsmark - she was a Teen Titan when he was like 8??? I’m still not used to Jason/Rose. John/Lois was also strange. It felt weird in that whole “I found a woman to fix me” thing that annoys the life out of me about m/f pairings.
The writing just wasn’t as emotionally moving for me as the first one and the story wasn’t entirely my favorite, though I’m glad they fixed Victor’s end.
So, DCeased is a recommend from me. This one, not so much.

I'm getting a little tired of seeing all my favorite characters get brut lly killed in these Elseworlds but the ending of this one made up for it.
Graphic: Blood, Violence, Death, Gore, Injury/Injury detail, Pandemic/Epidemic, and Murder
Moderate: Grief

Still one of the greatest Tom Taylor series, and one of the best DC events I’ve ever read! I personally enjoy DCeased more than injustice and I think it’s a story every DC fan needs to read at least once. The one thing that I will say about this volume in particular is that I know Tom Taylor is a big fan of Constantine so he is featured heavily in this, and I’m not too familiar with him so some of it was confusing to me. I also wish the story had explored cass with the wizards power more! I thought that design was so cool!
Overall my favourite volume of DCeased is probably still unkillables followed by the first volume but this series really does tie up nicely, and apparently there’s more coming? Super excited to see what else could possibly happen
