I would give 5 stars for the info here! It’s important information I wish more people knew and would be taken more seriously! However I think this could’ve been a bit shorter, there was quite a lot of repetition. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the writing style.

If I could choose one book in the world to have everyone read, I think this would be it. It's so informative, and the facts about endocrine-disrupting chemicals are presented in a clear, straightforward manner that conveys the sense of urgency that the author feels about the catastrophe occurring and perhaps worsening in our day-to-day lives.

The narrator of this audiobook did an amazing job. I felt that she did a good job representing the author's cadence and emotion.

I thought this sounded like a really interesting book, but I was unfortunately let down by the way it was written. It was often repetitive and confusing, and there were no in-text references so if you wanted to read more about a particular issue/topic you would need to trawl through ALL the references of the chapter. But, most importantly, the author highlights links between variables without once mentioning one of the most important principles in science: correlation does not mean causation!

Highly informative but kind of too doomsday-esque for me, even if that is the reality we live in. I was disappointed that the majority of the book was not personal actionable steps that can be taken to reduce toxic load. The fact that what I was looking for out of the book was only one chapter really bummed me out, but I still learned a lot more than I intended to learn. After reading this book, I definitely feel more equipped to lower the toxic burden in my home.

This book is pretty scary… very important for mankind. These chemicals harm everything, it’s not just reproduction, they destroy the soil and affect plant yields too!

Quite dry at times but everything is important. Part 4 about what we can do was definitely the most intriguing and very helpful

Would recommend to everyone

This book took a fascinating look at fertility around the world and the things that may be affecting it, particularly phthalates and microplastics. It was really interesting, especially the idea that it may be cumulative across generations. I would like to learn more.
