My 3rd Odelia Grey mystery. This one added having her track down her mom who abandoned her as a teen. It added a nice subplot. No spoilers. These are fun reads - there are 9 in the series.

A new amateur sleuth for my pantheon! I came in in the middle of the series, but was charmed by Odelia and definitely want to go back to the beginning to catch up on all her adventures!

Odelia is up to her usual tricks but this time she's not the only one seeking answers! She went to meet her mom and stumbled across more than she bargained for. Willie and then Greg fly out to meet her and try to steer her from her course of action but ... if you've read any books in this series then you'll know that she is determined to ferret out the truth no matter who is involved. Even if it's family. Especially if it's family. Odelia's heart is as big as she is! And that's part of why I love her!

Enjoyed this installment of the Odelia Grey series. I really like the characters, Odelia and Willie, who was prominent in this book.

This book is part of a series and I have not read the earlier books. I still found it entertaining as a one off. Characters that seem to be reoccurring in the series were adequately covered so this can be read as a one off and I found the characters personable enough that I might go back and read some earlier books. The mystery was good but I just could not make sense of Odelia's motivation in this case. I did like the interplay between her and her husband.

Another great addition to the Odelia Grey mysteries. Now i have to wait for the next one to come out. That is going to be hard for me because this series was always the one I looked forward to reading even though i read them quick. I think I'm going to reread this series while I wait plus another pile of books waiting to be read.
