Addictive !!!! Yes some parts are cheesy and some of the dialogue is a bit cringe, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and read this so fast it was like crack

It wasn't the type of book that I wanted to read and didn't like the characters very much. Maybe I'll read it in the future but not now.

DNF at 20 pages.

This writing is atrociously bad.

“The man had eyebrows larger than his eyes.” Huh?

“the skin Isla could see was so fair, her veins shined through, blue streaks on a slab of white marble. Her face was long and pointed in three places, cheekbones and chin, sculpted like a diamond.” Alien confirmed.

“Lightlark was a shining, cliffy thing.” 😐

“Isla was just finishing surveying her bathroom - more spacious than the one back home, even, with a tub she could do laps in - when a knock sounded on her door.”
Girl has a pool in her bathroom?

“The Sun had fallen. It was just a yolky thing, halfway consumed by the horizon.” 🤨 YOLKY?
