It's an absolute disappointment compared to what I expected. I just didn't care about the characters nor the story. It was not too gory or brutal for me. I read a lot of very brutal books and I don't mind it as long as it's well implemented but in this book it's just... There? It's graphic for the sake of being graphic and serves no other purpose.

This book is great at sweeping you in from the start. Adventurous horror that will leave you holding your breath for the next encounter. There were times where I felt deeply saddened by the content I was reading, but I suppose that’s what makes it such good writing. I loved the style of writing and the reduction at the end of the novel. However, I am not in a hurry to read the second novel.

This is a very dark, clever adaptation of Alice. I would say, also, that it is not for the light reader though. Expect horror and very traumatic themes.
