I loved this book.
It reminded me alot of the unhoneymooners and shipped which I loved as well.
Also slightly of the bromance book club series.
All in all this series is amazing so far and I can’t get enough of Meghan’s writing!

Great read

I really enjoyed this book. It was not an over simplified romance story. There was real life and feelings in it.

What also surprised me the most my favorite chapters were from the male character. Romeo felt more realistic and I liked hearing his side so much more.

This is my second book from this author and I can tell you it will not be the last book.

Stella & Romeo (Brock)

Gah this hit all the forced proximity, fake engagement, years-long pining sweet spots! It was funny and the MCs had so much chemistry this book was an instant win.

Not a fan or Ashley & Donny, gave me ultra ick and rage the whole story through but this is 100% a me thing, I still think it’s a great plot line that other readers would love.

Earn Your Extra Credit
By: Meghan Quinn
Narrated by: Sebastian York, Erin Mallon

A holiday weekend, a Meghan Quinn audiobook narrated by Erin Mallon and Sebastian York. Can life get better? I love this story! Laugh out loud funny, making those around me wondering what is going on, I had the pleasure of hearing Romeo and Stella's story. These two are too much! Good friends until a misunderstanding that neither discusses, Romeo and Stella now find themselves on their way to Hawaii for their friends' wedding. Little does Stella know that her father, and his new fiance, her old high school nemesis, are there too. And what does she do? She tells them she is engaged to Romeo. Romeo is in love with Stella, and has been avoiding her since she does not reciprocate his feelings. But being the nice guy he is, he plays along with her farce and the two find their relationship changing. Now what does that mean? Friends with benefits? Only on the island? Only until her father leaves? What happens when they go back? Hysterical moments, tender musings, sarcastic new mothers, revelations and sage advice all come into play and had me laughing and loving the entire time! It's another wonderful listen. Quinn always delivers and makes me happy.

Her pick of Sebastian York and Erin Mallon is perfection. York can play the hurt, loving man with such ease, you think he is really the character. Each scene shows Romeo's feelings, even if not dictated and we get everyone. Mallon is exceptional as Stella! Comedic timing at it's best, she nails all the craziness and adds her best nuances to Stella making her normal and real. Love this team and performance!

Fun and sexy read. I love the sarcasm Meghan Quinn uses in her books, it makes the characters seem more relatable.

I was so excited for the return of the characters of ‘See Me After Class’.

We got the romance between Romeo and Stella but also got to see where Arlo, Greer, Lindsay, and Gunner were in their love stories. I absolutely enjoy it from begin to end. This group of friends always make me pee my pants of laughter with all their antics.

The story starts with Stella and Romeo having a rocky friendship cause Romeo had tried telling her about his feelings and it back fired on him. So now the two are at odds with nonstop bickering and uncomfortable situations.

The group plans a Hawaiian vacation for a special event and the two have to find a way to deal with each other and get along. But in a drunk moment, Stella awkwardly runs into her Dad and his new girlfriend/fiancé, which turns out to be her nemesis from high school. Stella ends up telling them that she is also engaged to none other than her not-so-friendly friend Romeo.

I’d say this is a friends turned enemies turned lovers story. With a lot of laugh out loud moments, steamy goodness, and adorable friendships.

On a negative note, the dad storyline was a little much and could have been shorten a bit. But overall always a great read from Meghan.

This one was cute. I really liked Brock, but Stella was annoying for a lot of this time throughout this book. I loved him, but at times I felt like he should just move on and find someone better.
