This was short, romantic, and sweet. Little typos here and there but nothing too obvious. I liked this short story and how it developed. The epilogue gave me more context and I'm definitely going to read the rest one way or another 😅. Right now I have a long reading queue, but I'll be coming back for sure.

A prequel to the Cheshire Bay series, this book is a delightful quick read and, as a romance, a perfect vacation story. I look forward to reading other books in this series. Recommended.

I’ve read a few others in the series and I like her writing style . The story is about a developer who has come to town with the intention of turning a piece of the coastal town into a resort.
Both the main characters have somewhat recently left a significant other but for different reasons.
I loved the small town charm and how much the main character really loved her small town and wanted to keep it that way.
This book was an insta love which is a common occurrence in novellas . The epilogue is not unexpected though I wish things had gone another even if there was a happy ever after.
