Quick easy read that reminded me why I loved girlfriend fiction books in the past.
Bookmark days tells the story of Avril Staton, a country girl whose family has had a long fued with the Carringtons next door. Enter Nathaniel Carrington and Avril begins to fall for him, even though their families are sworn enemies.
Avril also has to deal with her cousin Katie, whose life seems to be the complete opposite of Avrils and Katie no longer feels like a bestfriend to Avril.
I fell in love with the romance that Avril and Nathaniel. The plot line made it seem like a Romeo and Juliet type of love, but I didn't see it that way. I was rooting for things to work out for these two and hopping that we'd see an end to the fued.
I enjoyed getting to know Avril and felt everything she felt along with her, especially her fustrations with Katie.
4 stars because this was a great story and I grew to like all the characters in the end.
