i dont like the point five reviews but i liked this one and i thought it deserved more than just 3 stars
so first story by the amazing Bill Finger, its all a dream sequence of batman where he dreams that giant bees are taking over gotham, it only had one flaw really when he found out they are communicating in a certain way and he listen in on the bees communications and he understood their messages to each other, but now that i think about it since its a dream sequence its not strange for a human to understand other living creatures in there.
second story finally a nice villain is back, and its the catwoman, and she is back with a vengeance, its a really nice return after so many issues with no star villains, catwoman is trying to smuggle diamonds into the country so she enters a beauty contest where the winner gets a bottle of perfume from out of country and her associate smugglers managed to put the diamonds in the bottle already, the whole story is just nice with a few twists and turns, and its really amazing how they do that with basically 10 to 12 pages stories, some of these 10 pages stories have more story than our current day 24 pages comics not all of them but marvel and dc are getting really complacent.
third and final story, is also a pretty new idea, this is the first time ever where batman loses control of his senses where batman is driven to the verge of madness, like this is it people, and it was just beautiful, i really love seeing batman tested and pushed to the absolute limits of both mental fortitude, morals, physical ability, i just want to see him really get tested to the absolute limit and be put in bad really bad situations, because most of the time we are seeing these heroes dominate, it gets boring really really boring, so yeah a gang manages to push batman mentality to the limit making him actually lose control of his mind and be put in a mental institute, but batman manages to pull himself together after staying one day in there and figures out what is being done to him.
