Not quite as good as the first one. i think there is a debate to be had about the"legitimacy" the Janes seek here. But still live this series and wish there was more.

I love MINX books and I am so sad to hear that DC will be discontinuing them! Janes in Love is the sequel to PLAIN Janes which I also loved. I highly recommend both.

I liked this book slightly less than I liked the original, mostly because of the relationship business (barf), but I still enjoyed it! The art style is wonderful and the different "art attacks" amuse me. If you want a sweet quick read, grab this book and the one before it.

The ninth grader in me adores these books. Looking forward to installment #3.

In this follow up book, the Janes are back. This time P.L.A.I.N is at risk due to the tough cracking down the city is having on them. In addition, there are some new love interests that catch the attention of the Janes’. A comic that is equally as amusing as the first one, I really wish that they would have kept going with this series. Alas, I am happy that they gave us two!

I think I like this even better than the first (though that weird pheromone scene was out of place). It delved more deeply into various issues--art, love, friendship, and mental illness.

I liked the first one better. This one was just okay - it didn't grab me like the others did, and the ending felt like there should be another book.

I REALLY like this series. A group of high school misfits (all named Jane), commit "art attacks" around their small town. They are lead by a mod-hipster who recently moved to town to get away from the memories of being part of a bombing in the big city. I love the interplay of high school drama, ripped-from-the-headlines, and art. And the illustration style is fun too!

Do read the first before going for this one, though (The Plain Janes).

I didn't like this quite as much as the first Jane book, but it was still quite good. As another reviewer stated, it felt kind of rushed and maybe there was too much in the story for the short format. I am very disappointed that DC Comics has canceled the Jane unit, so there won't be any more. I was looking forward to them...
