Nice calming story & illustrations with lots of repetition for engaging younger readers to be interactive with the story. Great for talking about winter.

Cute. Similar to Jan Brett’s The Mitten. One animal after another crowd into William’s bed to share a long winter nap.

I received my copy via a Goodreads giveaway.

Super-cute illustrations and a fun rhyming story of a little boy who just wants to take a nap on a snowy winter night, but keeps being disturbed by animals who are cold and wanting to come inside. It's a good picture book for younger children that will teach them sharing and empathy, and good practice for beginning readers.

I plan on sharing it with my 6-year-old niece!

I really liked this book. This cumulative picture book is about 6 different animals that escape the cold winter night by joining William in his bed. This story would also make a great felt board version.

Update: read during my kindess storytime and the children really loved the story and understood the message of kindness through sharing.

Most of my favorite things: happy, upbeat pace, nice rhyming scheme, cute story, and a caring main character. The illustrators weren't bad either. I'd recommend.
