I liked the edges of the book like the writing and everything other than the "romance" but I just can't get past the romanticizing of sexual assault..... not for me.

I really liked this book. A lot of people I know seem to really dislike [b:Toni Morrison|6149|Beloved|Toni Morrison|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1165555299s/6149.jpg|736076], and I wonder why (seriously--this is the only book by her I've read. I started Beloved at one point but didn't like it). Anyway, this is a good read.
