My 3-year-old daughter loved the repetitive Riiing Riiing of the emergency phone nearly as much as she loved the Rat-ta-tat-tat on the door of the previous Emily Brown and Stanley adventure, [b:That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown|671427|That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown|Cressida Cowell|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348536935s/671427.jpg|529935].

She didn't quite get as much into this one as either [b:That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown|671427|That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown|Cressida Cowell|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348536935s/671427.jpg|529935] or [b:Emily Brown and the Thing|1950066|Emily Brown and the Thing|Cressida Cowell|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1353045098s/1950066.jpg|1952937], but she certainly found the story to be enjoyable, had fun looking through the book on her own, and has requested it many evenings for her bedtime story.

Bonus points for there being a CBeebies Bedtime Story reading of this by Mr. David Tennant (Doctor Who) ;)
