It’s fine!

And then Jerry Ordway writes a FULLY insane issue where the ghost of Japanese civilians killed at Hiroshima haunt the Justice League. It’s terrible.

Thought I'd see what Black Adam is all about since hearing Dwayne Johnson is going to play him. Pretty disappointing book, he's in less than a quarter of it, very misleading title.

Since I started watching “Stargirl” on the CW, I’ve been on a JSA kick. A lot of these collections are re-reads for me, but I’m enjoying them nonetheless. After the brilliance of “Thy Kingdom Come,” this volume is a total let down. Johns appears to have been simply going through the motions to tie up loose ends before departing the title.

So, I jumped in the middle of the story with this, but I seem to do that with JSA stories. The Black Adam/Isis thing is only the first part of this, and the second part is a mystic Japanese revenge story that makes you want to cry a little. Good ending for Johns run on the title, lots of JSA family vibes to be found - classically great art here, and Ross covers.
