This has to be one of my favourite from Carroll. Maybe it just feels different when holding a physical copy but this one just gripped me.

The story was great, some good horror and revenge in there. The poetry was superb. A particularly favourite line of mine, "The sky was only meat that night, the moon a swollen bone...", reads a lot like Plath, my favourite poet. Hugely recommend.

Haunting and beautifully done. Emily Carroll's work continues to amaze me.

In this horror short story told in verse, Emily Carroll continues to improve her style. The illustrations are gorgeous and unique and the story is chilling, satisfying, and surprising until the very end.

I loved this back in 2018 and I adore it today in 2022 (physical)

I’m a huge fan of the author and I am slowly collecting it all up the great work and art from them
