The book was intriguing and unique. I love that the syntactic are so life like. Often I forget that they are not human until a fight scene comes along. I enjoyed how characters were brought into the story. The removal of characters made sense in how they departed from the book. The children are a great new addition to the story line. And Arsha dark secret knocked it out of the park.
