This book. This series.
So. Damn. Good!

Through every twist, turn, and breath-stealing moment, Evan Winter takes the reader on an outstanding journey and I was not ready for the ending.
Each page had something new to offer and unveiled more of the stunning world created.
Exhausted, broken, and fueled by unfathomable rage, we continue to follow Tau on his path to justice alongside his most trusted men.
A beautiful world soaked in blood and violence. Will they ever know peace?

A fun and fast paced follow up from the previous book. Tau still seeks revenge but the stakes are much higher this time and he has found himself in the middle of a war, the ending left me keen for the next book.

This book did such a great job delivering on the lingering questions and problem's of the first book. I think it is truly phenomenal, but I don't think it innovated quite enough on what the first book established and just didn't have the same driving force that I felt when reading the first.

I adore all the chapters we get of alternate POVs it is so interesting to see how other characters view our main cast and the author does so in such a visceral and thoughtful way.

A spectacular book that I loved every second of. Highly recommend.
