A fascinating insight into two figures of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. They met near the end of Nansen's long and eventful life and struck up a largely epistolary but no less passionate affair. Nansen sent nude selfies! Ueland's letters to him were destroyed, but it's clear she was bisexual and a very free spirit. The letters give a glimpse onto the passions of one of the world's leading humanitarians in Nansen.
