I loved it. One of the best books I've read in a while. I found the first half quite relaxing, rather light reading, and then it suddenly becomes worrying tense & dark with heartbreakingly sad moments. I actually cried several times & came to really care about the characters. Highly recommended.

While the mystery/thriller aspect of this book fell a bit flat in the last third or so of the book, I still found it wildly entertaining and quite often darkly funny, and I loved it overall. I would have liked just a little more of a creepiness factor, maybe a little more of a sinister feel to the antagonist, but that's a pretty minor complaint and I definitely got everything I expected out of this book based on things I've read from this author in the past. I look forward to watching the TV series to see how it compares.

3.75 stars. I expected more. It was interesting and just tied that line of being thriller/creepy. For such a big book and tv show I thought it would have been more. Watching the show now.
