I was provided a digital ARC from the publisher BOOM! Box.

Well, first of all, I LOVED this book. I devoured the ARC in nearly one sitting. It's sapphic, it's magical, and I cannot get enough of the art. Orla and Jo are interesting characters, and Orla especially experiences a lot of growth over the course of the book, which is always great to see. I'll definitely be looking out for more from this artist in the future!

I really liked this story and the art. Lesbian witches, familiars, saving your hometown by solving a mystery - it was wonderful. I can't wait to read more by this author and I'm so excited that they're working on a "raven boys" adaptation

Okay listen I know I talk about how much I love the art every time I talk about comics but y'all !!!! THE ART IN THIS ONE!!!!!! So so beautiful and stunning!! I read this while up at the cottage and all of the art of nature was perfect!

I picked this up on a whim at the comic book store because it seemed up my alley and I'm so glad I did. I went from reading a book about gay wizards (A Marvellous Light) to reading this which features queer witches and I'm very happy with my life choices.

Mamo is about home and responsibility and caring for a place and I cannot recommend it enough.

FIRST OF ALL sapphic witch graphic novels are the best thing ever. I have an obsession with them. SECOND OF ALL this artwork was fricking amazing!!! And the story was really good too, Orla kinda reminds me of the lady in the woods from Kiki's Delivery Service(I love that movie so much <3)
