Start up life! Definitely educational, but hooboy maybe not an activity to repeat. Angela's surprise at "just send us a receipt and we'll reimburse you" and less-than-OSHA (or Canadian equivalent)-friendly safety situations are super resonant to what I experienced. More slice-of-life weekly comics from Angela Melick ~2012-2013ish.
I'd forgotten about the broken wrist situation, and am delighted to see other artists I follow ([a:Kory Bing|6093764|Kory Bing|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]! [a:Zach Weinersmith|4094380|Zach Weinersmith|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1494889920p2/4094380.jpg]!) step in while Angela recovered.
This is also the volume where one of my favorite comic strips is- I completely agree with that other GR reviewer.

These continue to be very cute and Melick's artistry continues to improve. I wonder if they'd benefit from reading as a webcomic/comic strip (slower and one at a time) rather than a graphic novel, which makes me think about how comic strips are kinda like poems...
