It is hard not to compare this series with Harry Potter. And these are much better books. Reading this to my dyslexic kid, makes it particularly fantastic.

I really enjoyed these stories because I love mythology. You can tell that they are juvenile books, but they are action-packed and entertaining.

The Percy Jackson series as a whole is one of my favorite book series to ever exist. Riordan is truly a master of mythological fiction. Percy's adventures keep you on the edge of his seat. His wise-cracking humor never fails to get at least a chuckle. All in all, the series is a must-read for anyone who can read.

This 5 book series looks at what the modern world would be like if Greek Gods, goddesses,and monsters still existed. It is a great way to learn more about Greek mythology and is filled with action and suspense
