Oh this series is just a fun time. The right balance of plot and spice. I’m completely invested and am going to need to dive straight into book three.

This book allowed me to piece together more of the world, so I was able to vusualize a semi-solid idea of the universe Haze created. I still feel like the story was rushed. I felt like I was jumping all over the place within the world and that all the shifting took away from the characters. I never really felt Maeve mature, and I definitely did not feel the bonds between her mates. I think the world holds promise, and I enjoyed the various breeds of Fae introduced. I think it just needs more depth and structure.
