White Collar: The American Middle Classes by C. Wright Mills, Russell Jacoby

Surprisingly very readable and left us excited to read his posthumous essays. Offered an articulation of the American political spheres and economy that could have substituted for any number of college courses, and was twice as comprehensive. This, along side New Jim Crow, should be essential readings for understanding this rotten imperial corpse of a country.
