Did not finish reading this book. 12 pages in and my spouse and I were bored out of our minds. Although I'm not a rush-through type of reader, I found the story and the diction to both draaaaag without being compelling. Usually I'm already feeling invested in at least one character this shortly into a novel (not even a bit this time). Didn't need to hear 10xs over that she liked the uncle that would visit in her childhood (for example). Anyway, just not my cup of tea.
