So, in case it wasn't obvious, there were dragons in this book. That made my day!

I really like the way this book (second in the series) picked up immediately where the fourth book left off. I feel that some authors get lazy and have important events happen between books so that they don't have to write it directly, but can reference it through indirect flashbacks.

Once again I this series was a disappointment. It felt like I was reading an outline where the details of the story were hardly sketched in. I won't read anymore of the series.

For the second book in a trilogy, Dragon Games does a good job of avoiding feeling like filler content. There's a pretty solid internal plot, but it still moves the overall trilogy plot along well. It's not a special book, but it's good read.

We started out Dragon Games in the midst of another of Umber's adventures. Really it is fun reading what the gang get's into. In my opinion it was better than the first ^_^

We find out more about Hap and who he used to be and how exactly, Hap as we know him came to be. It was really good to see Hap find himself in this book, that is to say, you see him growing more confident. Of course all he really would like to do is go home to the Aerie, but as the story progresses we see him continue to come into his own.

Of course it was fun to see everyone else as well Oates and Umber are always a blast. Unfortunately (just for me) there wasn't much screen time for Sophie, but we did learn something more about her past, so huzzah ^_^
