Decided to reread this less than two months since I first read it because I needed a 'comfort read'... and boy was it so much more! Something tells me Cheeseman's comics are going to be favourites for me.

Absolutely gorgeous comic/graphic novel adaptation of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. It's a faithful retelling that uses a fittingly graphic-meets-traditional art style (with Gawain and Guinevere being medieval POC, yesss), and is bound up in an insanely pretty velvet hardcover. A must-have coffee table book for any fan of Arthuriana.

Absolutely gorgeous retelling of the Gawain story. I haven't actually read the story before, so this was an extra treat to finally learn it.
