I really enjoyed reading this book! The twists in this book compared to the original Little Red Riding Hood storyline are very intriguing and connect perfectly to the first book Cinder. Right away I knew that I would want Scarlett as a bestie, since she was such a strong and brave female character who was not afraid to stand up for herself and others. I’ve got to admit that Wolf grew on me as I progressed my way throughout the book, where I realised he was such a softy for Scarlett. Their scene at the end together made me giggle!!

Omg. What did I just read? I'll tell you what. One of the most amazing squels ever.
The way this book made me forget I was reading was amazing. The worldbuilding is just *chef's kiss*.
I loved the new characters. Scarlet and Wolf were amazing and their last chapter was so cuteeeee. And omg. Thorne. I love him waaaaay too much. He is literally the living incarntion of Flynn Rider with just a dash of Thomas Cresswell. I can't wait to read the next book!!
I think this series just became one of my comfort ones.

So Scarlet is better than Cinder, as it has more action, more brutal scenes and because I liked Scarlet and Wolf better than Cinder and Kai, even though the new boy, Thorne, isn't bad. Like the other book, Scarlet's story is written as to be easy to creat the mental images, like watching a movie, which I find impressive and one of the main reasons why I liked it. However, when Scarlet's story was interupted by Cinder's or Kai's, and not just for a champter, it was very annoying.

Still not in love with the plot development, but it was handled quite a bit better compared to the first novel in the series! I really liked all of the different characters introduced in this one, and it was fun to return to this world.

I find Scarlet a character I couldn't root for. She didn't stop and think for 3 seconds for her actions and continued to just yell and be angry with real main character energy. Wolf character and the whole alpha pack thing was just icky. Other characters held up the story.
