Really interesting to read a book like this. This was an honest and emotional account of what it's like to be a brain surgeon. I wish there were more books like it.

It is really refreshing to hear a surgeon openly discuss mistakes made over a career. There def needs to be more of that in medicine. Some of the UK medicine language was lost on me, however. I do not know what a registrar is and I think it’s weird they call their surgeons mr. X instead of Dr. X.
