Stevie and friends are the only link between this story and the Truly Devious case. This is a stand alone store. It took a minute to get to get into, but enjoyable enough.

Yes, it's YA. Yes, it's mystery. It's a standalone novel that features characters from the Truly Devious trilogy, but you do not have to read the trilogy beforehand to get into this story. It's good. It's not great. But it's an easy read and clever enough.

Easy YA thriller/mystery to help get me out of my reading slump. The crime was creepy in the beginning, but then the twist kind of made me laugh.

The pacing felt a little odd at times, but damn if I didn't have a grand time reading this book. I even like David now!
