I bought this book to read to my Grade 4/5 class, as we are doing a local history block and I thought the artisanal/historical town thing would fit. We live in one of those cutesy little towns on the East Coast of Canada. The book was a beautiful cozy autumny read. I think the kids will enjoy the mystery elements while I enjoy the beauty of the words and scenes.
