In light of the last TAZ arc, Carey does a great job at sprinkling in more hints to the ending than the podcast was able to. This graphic novel keeps the structure of the podcast intact, while refining what made it so brilliant in the first place.
Magnus' character arc in this volume particularly always hits me right in the feels. It's fantastic.
Minor: Death, War, Abandonment, and Grief

I also adored the found family element of this book. The little chatty, bantery moments were aplenty between the MCs which brought this trope to life.

ARC: Read the sampler from Net Galley and it was very good! I can’t wait to read the whole thing. I remember this arc of the podcast blew my mind. My one complaint about the galley was it was hard to read some of the drawn-in text.
Graphic: Fire/Fire injury, Xenophobia, Death, Cursing, Injury/Injury detail, Murder, Confinement, Abandonment, and Death of parent
Moderate: Gore and Grief
Minor: Pregnancy, Stalking, Child death, and War
