Definately better than the last couple of Stephanie Plum novels but still not quite up to par with the early books in the series.

this was a disappointment. Too many books done in too little time. I felt like I was re-reading past books and not even done well. This will probably be the last volume that I go out to purchase on the day of release. I usually look forward to knowing that there will be giggles and laughs but this one had very few of those. I also was a little repulsed at Stephanie's sexploits.

I literally laughed out loud at many times. Most of the time at Lula, my favorite would have to be when she screamed "vampire chicken!" haha. The only thing i didn't like about this one is that I knew who the killer was straight away and I hate that. I also felt like there wasn't enough humor from Grandma Mazur this time around, she's usually really funny... Other than that I love these books because you always know you'll get a good laugh!

The Stephanie Plum series is top tier. How is this book 17–not even including the little Plum novels with Diesel in between—of the series and I loved it JUST as much as book one?

Her plots never get old.

Her characters are THE. BEST. Stephanie is never annoying and hilarious. I can’t name a better side character than Lula. And we get the best of all MMC worlds with Ranger and Morelli. Grandma Mazur never fails to crack me up. I could go on and on.

Hilarious doesn’t begin to cover it. It’s comedic gold without being too over the top. It’s such a fine line and I have no idea how Janet does it.

5/5!
